The Teacher of the Year (TOTY) Award is granted annually to an outstanding teacher within the United States who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of geoscience education.
Nominations and applications are due Jan. 15, 2018.
Nominate a deserving teacher or submit your application now for the 2018 TOTY award. The winner will receive $6,000 and an expense-paid trip to the AAPG Convention and Exhibition in Salt Lake City, May 20-23, 2018. The $6,000 prize will be split with half given to the teacher for personal use and the other half given to the winning teacher's school for educational purposes under the teacher's supervision.
